Jacques Fred Petrus worked with a lot of great musicians. This list presents all known musicians based on the information found on the covers and various contacts with coworkers. The list is not complete because some covers does not point out the musicians on that particular recording. But the list gives nonetheless valuable and interesting information about the people that he hired.

The information for each musician includes full artist name, instrument/s (Note: only the instruments played during the time with Petrus), album appearances and additional information like interviews and links to official or any other website.

The string players on the 1981 album by Change are excluded like the Goody music orchestra.

    Versitile and very well-used trumpeter for almost fourty years that worked with many great names like James Brown, George Benson and Chaka Khan. Was together with his brother Michael the co-founder of The Brecker brothers band in 74 that played a innovative jazz funk kind of music.

    Born in 1955 Bullock was a distinguished jazz guitarist that worked with such great acts like David Sanborn, Bob James and Miles Davis. He released his debut album in 86. Bullock is perhaps best known for playing on Late night with David Letterman. Sadly Bullock died in 2008.
